Soccer Recap: Kalama Comes Up Short

If Kalama was feeling good fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Stevenson last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chinooks came up short against the Seton Catholic Cougars on Tuesday, falling 6-1. Kalama haven't had much luck with Seton Catholic recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Kalama's goal came courtesy of Ryleigh Cline, who's now up to three this season.

Kalama's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 1-1-1 and their overall record down to 1-3-1. As for Seton Catholic, the win keeps them at an undefeated 3-0-1.

Kalama didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Fort Vancouver on the 25th. As for Seton Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 7-0 win against Stevenson on the 25th.
