Soccer Recap: New Canaan Comes Up Short + How To Watch

New Canaan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Darien Blue Wave. New Canaan were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Darien apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

New Canaan's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Darien, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. New Canaan is set to challenge their familiar foe McMahon at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Darien will square off against rival Greenwich at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
