Highlands kept a clean sheet against Murphy on Monday. They blew past the Bulldogs 3-0. Considering Highlands have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Gabriela Diaz Martinez was the driving force of Highlands' attack as she scored all three of Highlands' goals, bringing her season total up to 30 goals.

The victory (which was Highlands' fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those four games. As for Murphy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6-1.

Coming up, Highlands will be playing at home against Blue Ridge Early College at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Highlands are facing Blue Ridge Early College at the right time seeing as Blue Ridge Early College are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Murphy, they will head out on the road to face off against Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
