Baseball Recap: Atascadero Comes Up Short

Atascadero lost against Dos Pueblos back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Greyhounds took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Atascadero saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Kerr, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Atascadero's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Dos Pueblos, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Atascadero didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Templeton on the 22nd. As for Dos Pueblos, they have also already played their next game, a 9-2 win against Oxnard on the 22nd.
