Softball Recap: Coolidge Bears vs. Globe Tigers
Coolidge had lost four straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 5-13-2 to make it five. They lost 19-3 to the Globe Tigers. Bears fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Tigers since Tuesday.
Coolidge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kassidy Mitchell, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.
As for Globe, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. The result was nothing new for Globe, who have now won nine matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
