Basketball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central lost against Oak Park back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Central Indians had to suffer through a 68-34 loss at the hands of the Oak Park Northmen. The match marked the Indians' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Central has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. The victory (which was Oak Park's 21st in a row) raised their record to 22-1.

Coming up, Central won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oak Park, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against North Kansas City at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Oak Park's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 19 contests.
