Basketball Recap: Middletown Skates Past Boonsboro with Ease

Middletown won the last time they faced Boonsboro and things went their way on Friday too. The Middletown Knights simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Boonsboro Warriors 65-30. That looming 65-30 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Knights yet this season.

Middletown is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Boonsboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Middletown will challenge Williamsport at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Williamsport knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 contests -- so hopefully Middletown likes a good challenge.
