Baseball Recap: Trinity Raiders vs. Edmonson County Wildcats
Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 18-17 heartbreaker at the hands of the Edmonson County Wildcats. Even if the Raiders couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.
Isaac Hernandez and Rylan Cecil stepped up to the plate in a big way. Hernandez scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his six plate appearances, while Cecil scored a run while going 3-for-6. Hernandez also put up an RBI, which was his first of the season. Harrison Barnett was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-5.
