Capital's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Butte Bulldogs. For the Bruins, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Capital walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 23-25, 25-15, 25-21.

Butte's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ellie Yates, who had 13 digs and two aces.

The victory snapped Capital's losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 3-26 record. As for Butte, they dropped their record down to 9-22 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
