New Life Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Landmark Academy 54-25. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 332nd, while Landmark Academy are ranked 731st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

New Life Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Landmark Academy, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Life Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against Austin Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Landmark Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against CenterPoint Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. CenterPoint Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Landmark Academy likes a good challenge.
