Volleyball Recap: Concordia's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Concordia lost against St. Paul Lutheran back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Fighting Orioles fell 3-1 to the Saints.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14, 16-25, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Concordia saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Riley Gordillo had nine digs and one assist.

Concordia's defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 8-9-1. As for St. Paul Lutheran, they pushed their record up to 7-12-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Concordia will square off against Windsor at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Paul Lutheran, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wellington-Napoleon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
