Baseball Game Preview: Northwest Guilford Vikings vs. Ragsdale Tigers

The Northwest Guilford Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Ragsdale Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwest Guilford is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

Friday just wasn't the day for Northwest Guilford's offense. They fell 5-0 to Northern Guilford on Friday.

Meanwhile, Ragsdale also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Grimsley by a score of 8-3.

Northwest Guilford's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Ragsdale, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5.

Northwest Guilford couldn't quite get it done against Ragsdale in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 6-3. Can Northwest Guilford avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
