Football Game Preview: Grant Cougars vs. Vidalia Vikings

The Grant Cougars are taking a road trip to challenge the Vidalia Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Thursday, Grant ended up a good deal behind D'Arbonne Woods and lost 49-34. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Vidalia made easy work of Block on Friday and carried off a 42-20 win. Considering the Vikings' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Grant now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Vidalia, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Grant took their win against Vidalia in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 42-20 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
