Basketball Game Preview: Liberty Christian Warriors vs. Colleyville Heritage Panthers

The Liberty Christian Warriors will challenge the Colleyville Heritage Panthers at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Liberty Christian has given up an average of 62.6 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Liberty Christian lost 57-37 to Greenhill on Tuesday. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jason Drake, who posted 12 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jacob Thompson, who earned seven points.

Meanwhile, Colleyville Heritage strolled past Legacy with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 54-36. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

This is the second loss in a row for Liberty Christian and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Colleyville Heritage, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Liberty Christian came up short against Colleyville Heritage in their previous meeting back in December of 2021, falling 69-58. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
