Basketball Recap: Norco Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Norco had lost three straight headed into Monday's contest, but Ryan Ibbetson didn't let it get to four. The Norco Cougars secured a 51-46 W over the King Wolves on Monday thanks in part to Ibbetson, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Arredondo, who posted eight points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (two).

Norco's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 8-17. As for King, they now have a losing record at 14-15.

Norco didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 96-55 defeat against Roosevelt on the 29th. As for King, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 69-41 victory against Corona on the 29th.
