Softball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Lincoln was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They lost 11-1 to the Bishop Blanchet Bears. The Lynx have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Lincoln saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dakota Blokker, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bishop Blanchet, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Lincoln will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Eastside Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop Blanchet, they will take on Holy Names Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
