Basketball Game Preview: Centennial Broncos vs. Central City Bison

The Centennial Broncos just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Central City Bison at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

On Friday, Centennial was able to grind out a solid win over Centura, taking the game 44-37.

Centennial got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Camden Winkelman out in front who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Slawnyk, who scored 11 points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central City). They blew past Ravenna 62-18 on Thursday. Given the Bison's advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Bluejays are ranked 237th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Central City, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.
