Softball Preview: Tipton Blue Devils vs. Oak Hill Golden Eagles
The Tipton Blue Devils will head out on the road to take on the Oak Hill Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Oak Hill took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Tipton, who comes in off a win.
Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Tipton turned things around against Heritage Christian on Thursday. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 7-4.
Ella Lobeck made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
