Softball Recap: Oviedo Lions vs. Lake Howell Silver Hawks

Oviedo lost against Lake Howell back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Oviedo Lions fell victim to a rough 10-3 defeat at the hands of the Lake Howell Silver Hawks.

Oviedo saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Morgan Jones, who went 1-for-3 with a stolen base and two RBI.

On Lake Howell's side, Nisabella Fatzinger-Rodriguez made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Fatzinger-Rodriguez has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in six consecutive pitching appearances. Fatzinger-Rodriguez was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

As for Lake Howell, they will head out on the road to challenge East Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
