Clarksville won the last time they faced Cumby and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers pulled ahead with a 37-36 photo finish over the Trojans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Cumby lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Chayton Vaughan, who rushed for 142 yards on only 15 carries, and also picked up 52 receiving yards. Another player making a difference was Dakari Johnson, who rushed for 125 yards while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.

Clarksville's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Cumby, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Clarksville will challenge rival Linden-Kildare at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cumby is set to face off against their familiar foe Bowie at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
