Basketball Recap: Carolina Academy Takes a Loss

Carolina Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were dealt a 73-44 loss at the hands of the Berea Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-21 last Tuesday.

Carolina Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Berea, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Carolina Academy and West-Oak will round out the year against one another at at 6:30 p.m. on December 27th. As for Berea, they will face off against Polk County at 12:00 p.m. on December 27th. Berea is facing Polk County at the right time seeing as Polk County is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
