Baseball Game Preview: Kewaskum Indians vs. Berlin Indians

For the second straight game, Kewaskum will face off against Berlin. Kewaskum will challenge Berlin at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kewaskum has six straight wins, Berlin has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Kewaskum's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Berlin 12-0.

Kingston Grisolono made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs. Those two triples gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Andrew Reichert was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Stoffel, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Kewaskum pushed their record up to 14-4-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Berlin, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.
