Soccer Recap: Concord Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Concord Christian Academy lost against Calvary Christian Academy back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Minutemen came up short against the LIONS, falling 9-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Concord Christian Academy were already down 7-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Gabriel Franco, which was the first he's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Concord Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 0-2-1. As for Calvary Christian Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2-2.

Concord Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-1 defeat against Chestertown Christian Academy on the 22nd. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they will take on Avon Grove Charter at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Avon Grove Charter will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last.
