Basketball Recap: Brooklyn Center Comes Up Short

Brooklyn Center lost against Roosevelt back in February of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Brooklyn Center Centaurs might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 57-17 to the Roosevelt Teddies, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Centaurs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jae Lang had a dynamite game for Roosevelt, going 6 of 15 en route to 15 points along with six assists and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sha?Sariah Works, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards.

Brooklyn Center's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Roosevelt, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Higher Ground Academy the next time they take the court. Roosevelt will host Higher Ground Academy at 12:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025, while Brooklyn Center will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
