Althoff Catholic extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Katelyn Karban. The Crusaders walked away with a 2-0 win over the Metro-East Lutheran Knights on Tuesday for which the team can thank Karban, who had 15 digs and two aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.2 digs per game.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Althoff Catholic took both sets by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-3.

Althoff Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Metro-East Lutheran, they dropped their record down to 4-17 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Althoff Catholic will host Belleville East at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Metro-East Lutheran, they will head out on the road to square off against Marquette Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
