Preview: Kofa Kings vs. Washington Rams
Kofa is 3-0 against the Rams since November of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Kofa Kings will head out on the road to square off against the Washington Rams at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Kofa scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Glendale 73-42 at home.
It was another big night for Calvin Barber, who scored 27 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Braveheart, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Washington waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against Copper Canyon by a score of 57-45. 57 seems to be a good number for Washington as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Kofa's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Washington, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-14 record this season.
Kofa strolled past the Rams in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 54-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kofa since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
