Softball Recap: Cosby Takes a Loss

Cosby played against Sevier County on Tuesday and lost via forfeit.

Cosby dropped their record down to 1-14 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Sevier County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-10.

Coming up, Cosby will venture away from home to challenge Washburn at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Pirates have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.6 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Sevier County, they have already played their next contest, an 8-0 victory against South-Doyle on the 22nd.
