Softball Recap: Jurupa Hills Takes a Loss

Jurupa Hills came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 13-3 to the Kaiser Cats. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Isabela Torres made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Jurupa Hills has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Kaiser, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-11.

Coincidentally, Jurupa Hills and Kaiser will both be playing Summit the next time they take the field. The Spartans will host the SkyHawks at 3:45 p.m. on Friday, while the Cats will host them at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
