Volleyball Recap: Manila Gets the Win + How To Watch

Manila won the last time they faced Tintic and things went their way on Friday too. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Miners.

While Manila might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Tintic scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22, 28-26.

Tintic's loss came despite strong showings from Ani Despain and Kyah Farr. Despain had 14 digs, while Farr had 17 assists and four digs.

Manila's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Tintic, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Tintic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Wendover on the 30th. Hopefully Manila paid attention to the Miners' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Miners at 3:30 p.m. on the 12th.
