Peoria Heights is a perfect 4-0 against Astoria/VIT since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Patriots will head out on the road to challenge the Rebels at 10:00 a.m. Peoria Heights has now lost 15 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 28.

Meanwhile, Astoria/VIT fell victim to Cuba/Spoon River Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 14-0 to the Wildcats. The defeat continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost eight in a row.

Astoria/VIT's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Peoria Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-17.

Everything went Peoria Heights' way against Astoria/VIT in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Peoria Heights made off with a 17-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
