Recap: Roxborough Wolves vs. MAST Charter II Voyagers
The Roxborough Wolves entered their tilt with the MAST Charter II Voyagers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Roxborough took down MAST Charter II 56-38 on Thursday. Given Roxborough's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 155th, while MAST Charter II is ranked 527th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Stefan Phillips was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. He also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Jones, who scored 12 points along with five steals.
Despite the loss, MAST Charter II still got an impressive performance from Cedric Williams, who scored 18 points. Basil Graham was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Roxborough's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for MAST Charter II, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Roxborough and Kensington will face off at 3:15 p.m. on December 11th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for MAST Charter II, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Vaux Big Picture at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Vaux Big Picture focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Friday.
