Soccer Recap: Panther Creek Gets Big Victory over Higher-Ranked Aubrey

After losing to Aubrey the last time they met, Panther Creek decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Panther Creek Panthers came out on top against the Aubrey Chaparrals by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Panthers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 282nd, while the Chaparrals are ranked 135th).

Panther Creek pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Aubrey, their loss dropped their record down to 9-2.
