Basketball Recap: Parkview's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Tuesday

Parkview won the last time they faced Branson and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Parkview Vikings snuck past the Branson Pirates with a 52-47 win. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Pirates are ranked 129th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Parkview's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Branson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Parkview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 48-46 loss against Milton on the 17th. As for Branson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Monett at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
