Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Zach Jordan and Justin Swank Lead Caprock Academy to Victory

Caprock Academy's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 65-47 victory over the Hayden Tigers. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 52-34 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Leading Caprock Academy to victory were Justin Swank and Zach Jordan. Swank made all 6 shots he took for 15 points in addition to seven blocks and five boards, while Jordan en route to 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Thanks to that strong game, Swank now owns an excellent 46.5% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Hardies, who on his way to 12 points and five boards.

When it comes to explaining why Hayden lost, don't look at Jace Bene. Despite the final result, he posted 18 points and six rebounds.
