Basketball Recap: Harvest Temple Christian Academy Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Harvest Temple Christian Academy hasn't had much luck on the road recently (they'd lost three straight) but thanks in part to Xander Barnes that streak is no more. Harvest Temple Christian Academy walked away with a 49-38 win over the Ohio E Eagles on Saturday thanks in part to Barnes, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 17 points along with five rebounds and five steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Sam Leonetti, who posted three points in addition to ten boards and five steals. Those five steals gave him a new career-high.

Harvest Temple Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Ohio E, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harvest Temple Christian Academy has already played their next contest (against Northwest Ohio Christian Home Educators), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ohio E will head out to take on Monclova Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on February 10th.
