Soccer Recap: Riverview Comes Up Short

Riverview scored the most goals they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against the Heber Springs Panthers, falling 7-2. The Raiders have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meetings.

Riverview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Heber Springs, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverview will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Buffalo Island Central at 4:30 p.m. on April 4th. Heber Springs will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Wynne at 7:00 p.m. on April 1st.
