It was a good run, but Living Word Lutheran unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Heritage Christian Patriots by a score of 3-2. The Timberwolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.
While Living Word Lutheran ultimately came up short, they really made Heritage Christian work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 15-25, 21-25, 25-16, 15-8.
