Basketball Recap: Paideia Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Knoxville Christian last Tuesday, Paideia Academy came back down to earth. The Knights had to suffer through a 91-28 loss at the hands of Berean Christian.

Berean Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lincoln Wilkerson led the charge by dropping a double-double with 18 points and ten boards. Those ten rebounds gave Wilkerson a new career-high. Hayden Scarbrough was another key player, going 5-for-10 to rack up 17 points and eight assists.

Paideia Academy now has a losing record of 1-2.

Paideia Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Clayton-Bradley Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 12. As for Berean Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 78-44 defeat against KACHEA on the 18th.
