Soccer Game Preview: Declo vs. Wendell

Declo hasn't had much luck against Wendell recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Hornets will challenge the Trojans at 5:45 p.m.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Declo's offense. They lost 4-0 to Kimberly on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Wendell faced Sun Valley Community in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Neither the Trojans nor the Cutthroats could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Wendell's first draw of the season.

Wendell's draw makes their record 10-1-1 this season. As for Declo, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

Declo suffered a grim 15-0 defeat to Wendell in their previous matchup on September 4th. Can the Hornets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
