Softball Recap: Scott Takes a Loss

The Scott Skyhawks lost 13-1 to the Riverside Warriors on Saturday. The Skyhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Scott saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haven Tomblin, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Tomblin has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Scott's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Riverside, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Scott didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Lincoln County on the 14th. As for Riverside, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-5 loss against Steubenville on the 12th.
