Baseball Recap: Lanesville Drops Highest Score of Season Against New Washington

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lanesville). They blew past the New Washington Mustangs 11-3 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Nolyn Hall, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Ian Crawford was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Lanesville's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for New Washington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Lanesville will head out to challenge Heritage Hills at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for New Washington, they will square off against Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
