Victory Christian's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Cornerstone Christian on Friday. They were beaten by Cornerstone Christian 48-0.

Meanwhile, Tabernacle lost to Tuscaloosa Christian on the road by a 36-20 margin on Thursday. The Torches have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the defeat, Tabernacle saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kobe Sharpe rushed for 70 yards and one TD, and also caught one score.

Victory Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Tabernacle, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Victory Christian took their victory against Tabernacle when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 38-12 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
