Basketball Recap: Chilhowee Comes Up Short

Chilhowee lost to Midway back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Indians came up short against the Vikings, falling 54-30. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 493rd, while the Vikings are ranked 233rd).

Chilhowee dropped their record down to 2-10 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Midway, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Coming up, Chilhowee will head out to take on Sacred Heart at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Midway, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Appleton City at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
