Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Serena walked away with it. They secured a 57-52 W over the Newark Norsemen on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Huskers: when they faced off against the Norsemen on February 7th, they had to take a 62-44 defeat.

Newark lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Payton Wills, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 11 rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Dylan Long, who posted nine points.

The win made it two in a row for Serena and bumps their season record up to 18-15. As for Newark, their loss dropped their record down to 18-14.

As of now, neither Serena nor Newark have any future games scheduled.
