Softball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors vs. Wolfson Wolfpack

Trinity Christian Academy proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by six) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Wolfson Wolfpack. The Conquerors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolfpack, too.

Madelyn Lasater spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Trinity Christian Academy's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Sawyer Butacan, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
