Softball Recap: Mt. Eden Monarchs vs. Vintage Crushers

Mt. Eden and Vintage squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Mt. Eden had to settle for second. They lost 19-1 to the Vintage Crushers. Mt. Eden has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mt. Eden saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jasmine Cruz, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

On Vintage's side, Noelle Rofkahr looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

At the plate, Angie Rubalcava and Cienna Alvarez did most of the damage at the plate: Rubalcava went 4-for-4 with four runs, five RBI, and a triple, while Alvarez got on base in all four of her plate appearances with a home run, three runs, and four RBI.
