Soccer Recap: Lake Placid Comes Up Short

Lake Placid was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Avon Park Red Devils. The shutout was out of character for the Dragons seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

Lake Placid's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-2. As for Avon Park, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4-1.

Lake Placid has already played their next contest, a 4-0 loss against McKeel Academy on the 10th. As for Avon Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 6-0 win against Moore Haven on the 9th.
