Basketball Recap: New Milford Takes a Loss

On Wednesday, the New Milford Knights were beaten by the Rutherford Bulldogs 59-27. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 304th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 58th).

New Milford has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Rutherford, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

New Milford has already played their next game (against Bogota), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Rutherford has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Harrison.
