The Timnath Cubs will challenge the Mead Mavericks at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Timnath is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.

Timnath and Northridge faced off in a Battle of the Bears on Monday. The Cubs blew past the Grizzlies 15-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cubs.

Bryson Dewey was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with two triples, five RBI, and one run. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Dane Wyman, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Timnath kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Mead's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Monarch on Thursday. The Mavericks had just enough and edged out Fairview 8-7.

Timnath now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Mead, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.
