The Tolleson Wolverines will challenge the Millennium Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Things were looking good for Tolleson after they put the first points on the board on Monday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They lost 8-1 to Casteel.

DIEGO SERNA was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out eight batters over 5.1 innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits.

At the plate, Tolleson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was XAVIER MARTINEZ, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. AMARI LUCAS also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Millennium got the win against Horizon on Wednesday by a conclusive 10-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Felix Santana spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on six hits.

On the hitting side, Millennium let Josue Malave and Preston Armstrong run wild. Malave scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Armstrong got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI and one double.
